About the Granite Association for the Alumni of the Regiment (580823078)

The Granite Association, excluding the graduates of the Granite Battalion (580823078), was established out of a deep sense of mission and commitment to the community of soldiers and graduates of the Granite Battalion.
The association works to strengthen the bond between graduates, accompany discharged soldiers on their way to civilian life, and support families who lost loved ones during military service or in the combat systems of the State of Israel.

Goals and objectives

  • Accompanying and supporting battalion graduates – providing tools, personal, occupational and psychological assistance to fighters and discharged soldiers in building their civilian future.

  • Commemoration and Memory – Commemorating the fallen members of the battalion while preserving the heritage, values, and fighting spirit of “Granite.”

  • Strengthening the community – promoting community activities, bonding days, workshops and social projects that connect battalion graduates, families and supporters.

  • Developing educational and values-based initiatives – passing on heritage, mutual responsibility, and leadership to future generations.

Our operating principles

The association has set itself the goal of operating with complete transparency, while sharing its documents and ongoing activities with the public.
We believe that the values of brotherhood, mutual responsibility, and service to the common good should continue to lead in citizenship as well—just as they led us in military service.

The association's vision

To be a warm and unifying home for all soldiers and graduates of the Granite Battalion, a place that provides support, reinforcement, and tools for personal and community growth — and to preserve the heritage and values we grew up with.
